african aviary – home african birds including white storks, turacos, cape teal, white-faced whistling ducks , guineafowl.
meerkat manor – enclosure including indoor , outdoor areas meerkats.
penguin pool – humboldt penguins in pool underwater viewing areas, housed in former bumper boat pool. there feeding sessions keepers daily.
birds of prey including great grey owl, pair of american turkey vultures , snowy owls.
hornbills- large hornbill collection including rhinoceros, silver-cheeked, black-casqued wattled, trumpeter, von der deckens , red-billed hornbills.
tropical birds including laughing thrush, spreo starlings , tawny frogmouths.
flamingos, pelicans , cranes in enclosures.

the floating globe – kugel ball part of entrance plaza developed 2008 season, largest of type in uk, weighing on 6 tonnes , 1.5 metres in diameter.
water wheel – genuine victorian brestshot waterwheel drives sawmill , part of original paultons estate (the land on park situated).

planning permission issues
in 2009, paultons park told may have move 2 of biggest rides (the cobra , edge) after application grant them retrospective planning permission turned down national park planning committee 7 votes five. area these rides situated designated country park , not amusement park in planning terms, whereas other areas of park recognised amusement park , therefore have permitted development rights.
after separate application (for cobra only) made announced on december 22, 2009 cobra (the park s biggest ride) had been granted retrospective permission , remain in current location.
another planning application lodged new forest national park planning authority retain edge ride. application received public support , paultons granted permission new forest npa retain edge ride in current location on 16 march 2010.
