business highway 10 (bus. us 10 ) business loop in flint area. ran 14.8 miles (23.8 km) along saginaw road, called saginaw street in city of flint. highway connected parent in mount morris township , ran southerly along saginaw road through mount morris. there business loop paralleled i-475 city of flint on saginaw street. in downtown, loop crossed flint river. there intersections both directions of m-21; eastbound m-21 routed on 5th street while westbound traffic followed court street 1 block north. south of downtown, bus. us 10 turned southeasterly run through suburban burton before terminating @ intersection us 10 (dort highway) near grand blanc in grand blanc township. saginaw road multi-lane undivided street length @ time bus. us 10


originally, saginaw road in flint area part of saginaw trail, native american foot path in area. when state signed highway system in 1919, saginaw road part of m-10. later used section of us 10 in 1926. 1930, main highway moved eastward follow dort highway, , route through city designated m-10. renumbered bus. us 10 in 1941. later, in 1962, us 10 moved again follow completed i-75 freeway; former route of us 10 redesignated m-54 , business loop renumbered match.
