on september 26, 2001, fcc granted construction permit build ktmf-dt on uhf channel 36. station received special temporary authority (sta) on april 22, 2001 broadcast @ reduced power. ktmf elected remain on channel 23 following completion of digital television transition.


analog-to-digital conversion

ktmf shut down analog signal, on uhf channel 23, on february 17, 2009, original target date in full-power television stations in united states transition analog digital broadcasts under federal mandate (which later pushed june 12, 2009). station s digital signal relocated pre-transition uhf channel 36 channel 23 post-transition operations.


ktmf airs fox programming on subchannel. currently, programming mynetworktv (the fox sister network) seen in delayed manner 11:05 until 1:05 next morning. there no local branding and/or logo indicating secondary mynetworktv affiliation status aside network promotions.
