youth

he represented blue bulls since primary school level, when played in 2008 under-13 craven week competition. represented them @ 2011 under-16 grant khomo week in east london, scored try in match against boland.


he represented them @ 2013 under-18 craven week tournament in polokwane, made 3 appearances. after tournament, snyman selected in south africa schools team played 3 matches against european counterparts in august 2013; started matches against england, france , wales, helping them victories in 3 matches.


after secondary school, joined blue bulls academy , represented blue bulls u19 side during 2014 under-19 provincial championship. got of flying start u19s, scoring try in opening match of season in 29–17 victory on eastern province u19. played in ten matches during regular season, contributing 1 more try in match against free state u19 , helping them finish top of log qualify semi-finals. started both semi-final – 43–20 win against sharks u19 – , final, lost 26–33 against hosts western province u19 in cape town.


2015–

in 2015, snyman included in bulls super rugby squad prior 2015 super rugby season despite not having featured in first class matches point. however, didn t game time , reverted blue bulls squad 2015 vodacom cup. made senior debut in first match of competition, 37–13 victory on gauteng rivals falcons in kempton park. started next 3 matches against leopards, golden lions , pumas.


he named in 37-man training squad south africa national under-20 rugby union team , featured them in friendly match against varsity cup dream team in april 2015. despite missing out on two-match tour of argentina, named in final squad 2015 world rugby under 20 championship upon team s return. started 3 of matches in pool b of competition; 33–5 win against hosts italy, 40–8 win against samoa , 46–13 win on australia south africa finish top of pool b qualify semi-finals best record pool stage of teams in competition. snyman started semi-final match against england, not prevent them losing 20–28 eliminated competition england second year in succession , started third-place play-off match against france, helping south africa 31–18 win secure third place in competition.


in june 2015, extended contract @ bulls until october 2017.

in 2016, snyman included in south africa squad played two-match series against touring england saxons team. came on replacement in first match in bloemfontein, ended on losing side visitors ran out 32–24 winners. started second match of series, 26–29 defeat saxons in george.

snyman joined japanese top challenge league side honda heat 2017–18 top challenge league season.
