do not use lists if passage read plain paragraphs.
use proper wikimarkup- or template-based list code (see wp:manual of style/lists , help:list).
do not leave blank lines between items in bulleted or numbered list unless there reason so, since causes wiki software interpret each item beginning new list.
indents (such this) permitted if elements child items
use numbers rather bullets if:
a need refer elements number may arise;
the sequence of items critical; or
the numbering has independent meaning, example in listing of musical tracks.
use same grammatical form elements in list, , not mix sentences , sentence fragments elements, example when elements are:
complete sentences, each 1 formatted sentence case (its first letter capitalized) , final period (full stop);
sentence fragments, list typically introduced introductory fragment ending colon;
titles of works, retain original capitalization of titles;
other elements, formatted consistently in either sentence case or lower case.
