yohsin lecture series public lecture series modelled after public lecture series of london school of economics. inaugural yohsin lecture delivered dr. munir fasheh in november 2011. other prominent speakers have included dean sais @ johns hopkins university, dr. vali nasr , mit professor, dr. deborah k. fitzgerald.

the center named after 18th century poet, linguist , lexicographer, siraj-ud-din ali khan arzu. arzu center linked hu s school of arts, humanities , social sciences programs , serve meet vernacular requirements of university. center’s scope of work covers wide range including language instruction, translation , regional languages. represents regional languages , humanities contributes hu’s overall vision , institutional mission through nurturing pedagogy, research , scholarship in various languages pakistan. center designed contribute revitalization of these urban , rural languages, heritage , cultures found throughout country.
