multimedia fountain roshen located in vinnytsia, city in west-central ukraine, located on banks of southern buh. built in 2011 considered 1 of largest floating fountains in europe. major multimedia attraction in city.


the fountain constitutes part of complex reconstruction project of southern buh quay near roshen confectionery factory in vinnytsia. in framework of project 700 meter water front embanked, pedestrian zone , leisure area constructed, street lighting system installed, , amphitheatre built hosting spectators of fountain shows. install fountain equipment riverbed of southern buh cleared in volume of 28000 cubic meters. in history of ukraine project first of such scale implemented on private company costs.


primarily fountain systems installed in artificial water basins water cleaning system. unique characteristic of roshen multimedia fountain use of running river water. 1 more exceptional characteristic of multimedia fountain “hibernating technology”, due fountain equipment sinking under ice on bottom of southern buh during winter periods.
