for 1996 summer olympics, macdonald created flair, 26-foot-tall sculpture of gymnast. monuments has completed, macdonald designed plaza on flair sits, including large reflective pool , fountain.
u.s. open golf championship
the 15-foot-tall, 10,000-pound sculpture sits atop 22,000-pound granite base, installed @ peter hay golf course in pebble beach, california commemorate 100th u.s. open golf championship. sculpture accurately portrays mechanics of ideal golfer swing. granite base features names of first 100 winners of u.s. open. reverse side provides space next hundred winners.

macdonald has started work on grand coda, memorial dame ninette de valois, founder of royal ballet , royal ballet school. monument installed @ white lodge in richmond park, london, england, historic royal retreat home royal ballet school. work-in-progress in development @ artist s studios in california , london.
