career

latamie’s artistic works refers history, art history , complexity of human kind history. on occasions consider issues of globalization, how, example, world trade has affected populations in transit.

in 2012, in recent exhibition @ americas society in new york, latamie displayed reenactment of turn of 19th century, devastating use of absinth became substitute artists , poets before ww1. latamie grew in martinique absinth considered natural beverage never fell under regime of french prohibition

in earlier years in paris, marc latamie has been part of first team of lecturers @ national museum of art - centre pompidou (paris), , l’ecole du louvre (paris). since 1998, latamie has been visiting professor @ cooper union in ny, invited hans haacke, , several years visiting scholar @ new york university. latamie on occasions participate in lecturers @ columbia university, u-mass boston, , several art schools across europe , caribbean.
